A future in engineering??

Posted by kuri, ping, the pinglet, & mini-ping on 10/31/2008
The Pinglet fixed our phone tonight. Ping had been struggling to find out the reason why our cordless phone just beeped constantly--changing batteries, switching cords around, and the method we've all used before...shake the phone hard in the hopes that it will start working. But nothing doing.

I think the Pinglet was tired of watching us and decided to lend a helping hand. She somehow wrestled the phone away from Ping, flung it across the floor where it almost shattered into a thousand pieces, and voila! It's working like new.

Sometimes all you need is a 15 month old to find a solution to your problems. Now all I have to do is find out how to get her to apply her mind to figuring out a way to keep her sleeping through the night.

2 of you feeling verklempt. Tawlk amongst yourselves:

such a smart little girl :) when my dad used to throw tantrums my grandmother threw a glass of water in his little screaming face- guess it was pretty effective, not that I recommend that, or would even do it myself...

Does she want to come to our house and fling our cordless phone across the room too?? I have tried and so has Shou but we haven't got the knack. If what you say is right, Marina should be up for a good throw the phone across the room session in about five months!
